A BIG Boat on the River...How Exciting!
Woo hoo! The blogger site is letting me post some pictures! I felt like taking a minor break from our renovation stuff (blog-wise), and showing you guys what all the excitement was on the river today! I got to work this morning and immediately noticed this huge boat, I should say yacht or ship...anchored in the river right in front of the wharf. It stood out like a sore thumb! What a beautiful boat! Anyhew, once I started work, I heard lots of customers talking about who owned it. Apparently it's here from Bermuda, and some people said that it's Sean Connery's..while others are saying it's Alan Jackson's. (I think the Alan Jackson rumour started since the big outdoor country concert is happenin' in Moncton this weekend). You all know how people love to tell stories around here! Heh heh!
So, being the nosebag that I am, I went home to get my camera and binoculars and spent half of my lunch hour on the wharf trying to see who was on the damn boat! Of course, I saw nobody, but I did get some pictures! Here they are..this is just a shot of the wharf, nothing special..The BIG boat...isn't she a beauty?
When I was walking back into work, dodging various bulldozers, trucks, etc..I figured I'd take a few more pics of front street. It's still torn to pieces, but at least they have the new curb in now..If you zoom this one in you'll see that guy staring back at me..he probably thinks I'm trying to take his picture..ha ha!
I can't wait till all of the construction is done! Anyway, that's all for now..I'll let you all know if I ever find out the real owner of the boat! Later,
Liss :)

Ha ha ha...good one! Seriously, nobody seems to know who owns it! Even the local paper couldn't find out (according to one of my customers..heh heh). It's a Miramichi Mystery!

Holy hell that's funny. One little yacht comes floating on the river and everyone is up in arms. I would have loved to be there to see it.
