Got Our Building Permit!

Howdie everyone!

I figured I'd write a quick post to say that after two weeks of legal crap, we finally got our building permit! Yay! Now we will be dedicating the next few weeks to building our new fence and backyard deck. I'm so excited! I'll be posting throughout the process, with lots of before and after shots. I can't wait to have some privacy...living on a busy corner sucks.

I have no pictures from last weekend at Jody and Mel's house. I forgot the camera in the truck, didn't even think about it! We had a great time, (thanks for having all of us over guys!), hopefully we'll do it again soon. Maybe next time the fire can be in my backyard (we just bought one of those copper firepit thingy's). Yet another thing to be excited over..you all know how much I love campfires! :)

Last night Mitch and I went to the movies, we saw "Monster House". This wasn't a movie I would have picked, I really wanted to see Pirates of the Caribbean (gotta LOVE Johnny Depp!!). But it was Mitch's choice, so away we went! I have to say, I really enjoyed it! It's a great movie, really funny, and one of the main characters voices was Steve Buscemi, (which was a bonus). If anyone gets a chance, check it out sometime!

Well, gotta run! More on the home renovations another day.....
